One of the best reasons to use a credit card in Singapore is that you get to earn rewards points or miles just for using your card to pay. Credit card rewards can be in the form of cash rebates, rewards points or air miles. Some may like the idea of collecting miles to offset their travel costs, while others (like me) may appreciate cash rebates more.

Here, we at BestCreditCards.sg have rounded up our picks of the 3 best rewards credit cards for Singaporeans who make more than $30,000 annually. These cards are also suitable for expats in Singapore and for each card, we also state the minimum income required for foreigners.

Best Credit Cards For Singaporeans Earning $30,000 Or More Per Year

1. Citibank Rewards Card VISA

Minimum income required: For Singaporeans and PR, minimum annual income is $30,000. For foreigners, minimum annual income to qualify is $42,000.

Citibank Rewards Card VISA is the card for you if you love shopping and if you like the flexibility that comes with accumulating rewards points in exchange for anything from discount vouchers, merchandise, to even miles.

With this card, no matter whether you are shopping at departmental stores or at boutiques that sell shoes, bags, or clothes - online and offline - you get to earn 10X Rewards all year long for every dollar spent. That's equivalent to 4 miles, according to Citibank. This applies if you're shopping overseas as well which is a great perk for travellers and those that shop online regularly (except for travel-related purchases). The only downside is that these 10X Rewards are capped at 120,000 Rewards points per card anniversary year, more precisely 10,000 Points per statement month.

The rewards points that you earn will be given in the form of Citi Dollars, with a validity of 5 years.

This card also gives cardholders extra discounts when they shop at selected merchants online, in addition to the multitude of Citi Privileges across travel, dining and petrol categories that come with the credit card.

Citibank Rewards Card VISA has an annual fee of $192.60, waived the first year.

3. UOB Delight Credit Card

Minimum income required: For Singaporeans and PR, minimum annual income is $30,000. For foreigners, minimum annual income to qualify is $40,000.

UOB Delight Credit Card is a great card to have if you shop frequently at Cold Storage, Market Place, Jasons, Giant and Guardian as you get to enjoy up to a solid 8% rebate, depending on how much you charge to your card in a calendar month.

Take note that SMART$ have a considerably short lifespan - they expire 6 months from the date you earn them or on the expiry date of your credit card, whichever is earlier.

This card also gives you access to a 10% discount at more than 4,000 house brand products at Guardian, Giant, and Cold Storage.

If you spend at least $400 monthly across all transactions, and you utilise the convenient Visa payWave when making payments for purchases below $100 regardless of whether you're buying movie tickets at Golden Village or getting your coffee fix at Starbucks (and more), you'll get to earn 3% rebate as well.
