Starting in May this year, Singapore Airlines will introduce its new Boeing 787-10 aircraft on select flights between Singapore and Perth as well as between Singapore and Osaka. Singapore Airlines will be the world's first carrier to operate the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-10 and the airline is excited to be taking delivery of the first of its 49 Boeing 787-10 planes in March.
Subject to regulatory approvals, the national carrier will initially operate one of the four daily Singapore-Perth flights using its new Boeing 787-10 plane, though no word has been given on whether all of the Singapore-Perth and Singapore-Osaka flights will be flown using this particular aircraft type in the future.

The highly advanced Boeing 787-10 aircraft to be debuted soon in Singapore Airlines' network will seat 337 passengers - 36 in Business Class and 301 in Economy Class. Those who would be flying on the new Boeing 787-10 jet will have access to the carrier's new regional cabin products, too.
For those who are wondering, the Boeing 787-10 is the newest and longest version of the super-efficient Boeing Dreamliner range of aircraft. Measuring 68 metres in length, the plane is built using technologically advanced lightweight composite materials.
Before the new aircraft officially goes into service sometime in May for flight schedules between Singapore and Osaka as well as Singapore and Perth, the airline will use its new Boeing 787-10 aircraft on select Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok flights in preparation for crew training.
